About Us
Bridging the distance between families abroad and the parents they love
Ama Buua ko Sarathi exists to be a reliable local presence for elderly parents in Nepal — giving families abroad visibility, accountability and immediate local assistance.

Our Story
Distance shouldn’t mean disconnection
You left Nepal to build a better future for your family. But no matter how successful you become, one thing is hard to replace — the ability to be physically present for your parents.
Every child abroad fears the unexpected phone call from Nepal — the one that starts with “Don’t panic, but…”. We started Ama Buua ko Sarathi so that your parents always have a dependable, accountable Sathi nearby, and so you always know how they are.
Based in Balkot, Bhaktapur, we support families across the Kathmandu Valley and beyond.

Meet the Founder
Hello, I’m Furna Sangmu Tamang. With a background in media, communication, and community engagement, I founded Sarathi out of a deep respect for our senior generation and a desire to serve families separated by distance. I believe every parent deserves compassionate care and companionship, and every child abroad deserves the peace of mind that comes with knowing their family back home is in good hands.
